Here’s how much the Galaxy Z TriFold will cost in the US

Samsung is all set to begin the Galaxy Z TriFold’s US expansion this week as the device is set to go on open sale from Friday, January 30. Samsung confirmed that the trifold will be available exclusively through Samsung.com and select Samsung Experience Stores for an eye-watering price of $2,899.

That would crown the dual-folding Galaxy as the most expensive new smartphone in the US. Those willing to dish out the hefty price can get the Z TriFold in Crafted Black with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Galaxy Z TriFold was announced back in early December and went on sale in South Korea first for KRW 3,590,400, which is $2,494 based on today’s exchange rates. The foldable was available in limited quantities in its home market and naturally sold out in minutes. Samsung has not confirmed the stock allocated for the US.
